The owners of this picturesque estate in Co Down decided to extend their bungalow, creating a new wing to the house with new bedrooms, a bathroom and a sitting room. The original bungalow, built to the 1960s style had been successfully renovated to give it the appearance of a traditional country cottage, with the windows becoming wooden sliding sash.

Therefore, it was essential that the new extension stayed in keeping with the renovated house. The homeowners contacted Window Crafters before building work commenced for information on Marvin's wooden sliding sash windows and the options available.
